Event placements — refund policy

Applies to paid event placements submitted via partners.froz-app.com by verified Froz Partners (“you”, “Partner”). Does not apply to the Froz mobile app, community-created meetups, or free editorial content.

1. Before your submission is approved
You are not charged when you submit. Froz authorizes your card for the placement fee but does not capture funds. The authorization is released automatically if:
- Froz rejects your submission.
- You withdraw your submission before approval.
- Seven (7) days pass without action on our side.
Holds typically clear from your statement within 1–5 business days.
2. After your submission is approved
2.1 Partner-initiated cancellation
- 48 hours or more before event start: full refund to original payment method.
- Less than 48 hours before event start: no refund under the standard policy. Case-by-case exceptions (severe weather, public health emergency, unsafe conditions) reviewed at Froz’s sole discretion.
- After event start: no refund.
Cancellations are processed in your partner dashboard. The dashboard is authoritative.
2.2 Froz-initiated cancellation
If Froz cancels your event after approval (policy violation discovered post-approval, operational failure, legal / compliance constraint):
- Full refund to original payment method regardless of timing.
- Email notification with the reason.
- Where the cancellation is operational, credit toward a future placement may be offered.
2.3 Partial refunds
Froz may issue a partial refund at its sole discretion when the placement was partially delivered, a material quality issue affected delivery, or a partial cancellation was mutually agreed after service began. Operator decisions are final.
3. Refund processing time
All refunds are issued to the original payment method only. We do not issue refunds via check, gift card, account credit (except where explicitly offered under §2.2), or to a different card.
Refunds typically take 5–10 business days to post, longer for international cards.
4. Chargebacks and disputes
If you are considering disputing a charge via your bank, contact us first at support@froz-app.com. Chargebacks harm our merchant account and may result in Partner account suspension. We usually resolve disputes within one business day.
5. Non-refundable situations
- User-side attendance or conversion outcomes.
- Content moderation issues caused by the partner.
- Material changes to the event after approval.
6. Dispute resolution
Any dispute not resolved via support@froz-app.com within 30 days will be handled per the dispute resolution clauses in Froz’s Terms of Service. Governing law: the State of New Jersey, USA.
7. Changes to this policy
Material changes will be announced via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Events approved before a change are governed by the policy in effect at the time of approval.
